The Tragedy Assistance Program for Survivors (TAPS) offers compassionate care to all those grieving the death of a loved one serving in our Armed Forces. Since 1994, TAPS has provided comfort and hope 24 hours a day, seven days a week through a national peer support network and connection to grief resources, all at no cost to surviving families and loved ones.

Paralized Veterans of America's Operation PAVE provides one-on-one career counseling and assistance to veterans and their families. With offices in every VA spinal cord injury center, they reach out to all veterans seeking to transition to civilian employment, return to school, or begin a new career search. All services, from résumé assistance, interview preparation, vocational counseling, or employer networking are provided at no charge—and are available to dependents as well.
Combat Veterans Helping Combat Veterans is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to helping Combat Veterans. Their focus is with Veterans who suffer from Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), in addition to other physical and mental injuries as a consequence of their service in a combat zone.
They specialize in VA disability compensation and Federal Social Security Disability.
Dogs on Deployment
Dogs on Deployment is a national 501(c)(3) non-profit providing a central network for military members to find volunteers willing to board their pets while they are deployed or have other service commitments, making them unable to temporarily care for their pets.
Pets for Vets
The Pets for Vets program is dedicated to supporting veterans and providing a second chance for shelter pets by rescuing, training and pairing them with America’s veterans who could benefit from a companion animal.
Farmer Vet Coalition
The Farmer Veteran Coalition cultivated a new generation of farmers and food leaders, and develop viable employment and meaningful careers through the collaboration of the farming and military communities. They believe that veterans possess the unique skills and character needed to strengthen rural communities and create sustainable food systems. They believe that agriculture offers purpose, opportunity, and physical and psychological benefits.
